#MarchMeetTheMaker Day Ten 'You' Hi Guys! So for those of you who don't know me this is me surrounded by some of my work. My Name is Frankie Wright and I'm 23 Years Old. I love dyeing my hair colourful, it just makes me smile having brightly coloured hair. I love making things, creating and reading [currently reading @naomi_alderman The Power – Amazing Book and Totally Recommend!]. I have 8 Tattoos and 5 Piercings. I am definitely a Summer person as I love Sunshine and am terrible with the cold. I collect Badges, Train Tickets, Pressed Pennies from Trips and Little Ceramic Animals from Holidays. And I like to have the TV on when I work.. That's all I could come up with for little facts about me ^-^

#MarchMeetTheMaker Day Eleven ‘Reducing Waste’

I am definitely someone who hates to waste things, whether that is my time or materials when making things. So I always start a project by planning things out so as to avoid as much wasted time as possible. But I also love to collect up old materials and things that I am no longer using and find a new use for them in a later project. I have this big red box full of materials that are just gathered from various places!

But I also love to collect up old materials and things that I am no longer using and find a new use for them in a later project. I have this big red box full of materials that are just gathered from various places! I've even been known to re-use crafts (this is why I love Plastiline as you can melt it and reuse easily). Like you can see here I've even recycled plasticine on an old puppet into a new sculpt such as this trenchcoat character from my Foundation Diploma Place Project 'The Park Bench' (which can be found on my Vimeo – Link in Bio) which I turned into a Christmas Tree for a later project and later still use that Tree as a Christmas Decoration every year.. You guys have any tips for Reducing Waste?

#MarchMeetTheMaker Day Twelve ‘Hands At Work’
Here you can see me animating a few shots of my short ‘Colour’. This film was made during my last year and University. It took roughly 2 months to animate this Three and a Half Minute film [which you can find on my Vimeo].

‘A girl bored of her monochrome Blue life, literally so being that she lives in a world of one coloured lands; Blue, Red and Yellow. She discovers her wonder for the other colours of the world when out for a walk in the park, her adventure guided by a bright red cat.’

Music: ‘Silence for a Film’ by Ann Annie from YouTube Audio Library.
