My story will be loosely based on the items from the Betty Smithers Collection, working with a jacket and an old film camera. It shall be in a room with a camera that chatters to life, flickering light to the far wall. we see the faint sign of a jacket next to the camera but the shot is then to turn to the wall with the film lit on (the sound comes in as the film plays). This shows a dancer on the screen, moving to this piano music. We are then turned to the jacket, now in spot light, as it comes to life and begins to imitate the dancer’s actions. However the film then stops and with it the music and the jacket goes limp immediately and fall to the floor again, inanimate once more. Fade out.
